Story:

She made some preparations before her passing, including assigning a botanical curator from a local museum to assist you. He’s gentle and amiable, with an unwavering passion for all things curious.
When the lines between professionalism and attraction blur, you realize that he may have taken a dangerous interest in your craft—and you.

I really love this game. I've unlocked every single ending, and 4/4 is definitely my favorite. The way the MC and Chao are so alike is just so moving—seeing them slowly get closer and start to resonate really got to me. It feels like no matter what choices you make, they’re just bound to fall for each other.

Dang, Chao is such a cutie but alas...
Omg, this is such an addicting read! The build-ups and revelations of the mystery were all so intriguing! I esp loved our MC in this, and like how others mention just how much of sketchy freak they are no matter what route you take. (And the spicy scenes were, mwuh, chef-kiss!)
I also love the visual presentation here with the black/white backgrounds and the use of pink here and there, especially with the CGs.

Just got ending 4/4 and I love it. MC and Chao are the very definition of matching eachother's freak but in such a romantic way. Both MC and Chao are very interesting characters!

Hello, I enjoyed the game, esp the ambiguity was exciting <3 Not to mention it is actually finished! :v
Some random stuff that caught my attention while reading:
- "a BURST of pent up passion BURSTs within"
- "silence descends IN the room" (Should be ON or upon)
-"his slow violence is learning to be reigned in with great effort" (This sentence sounds like all its words were put in a bag and shook very hard)
- (Describing Chao's demeanour) "he brings himself" (instead of carries himself)
I'm sure there's more, so the text could use some fixing up!
I'm not saying this to nitpick, but because I know how hard it is to see one's own mistakes and I'd rather take a little time to point them out to you instead of shrugging and moving on...

The heart's undertaker is fictional, but I tried writing it as realistically as possible. That, and the other flowers mentioned are real, so there was alot of research done T____T I'm so glad someone notices!! Thank you so so much ❤️❤️
Oh my god I just played through all the endings, and this is now one of my top three favorite visual novels. The endings? Absolutely amazing. And the art is the cherry on top. I can't wait to see if you make more games in the future!!

AHH I was wondering when your next game would drop!! I actually saw the link to this on the yanjam server and immediately rushed to play it 🏃🏃🏃
I just want to say this totally blew me out of the water! I really liked being in the MC’s head, their experiences and running thoughts through their mind while embalming, and attitude towards sending off the deceased felt really evocative and I felt super immersed.
Also Chaoxiang is so cute OMGG 😆😆 I really love his design! I tried playing through all the favorable options first. I loved the bits of foreshadowing, and then escalating into that confrontation oh my gosh I was so invested. I really liked the scene where he showed MC the heart’s undertaker, I loved all the double meanings!
When I went back to replay with all the distant options, I was really shocked at how the vibes completely changed! It was way more unsettling and I could really witness the rose colored glasses slipping away, the psychological horror was pulled off super well. And oh my gosh the first ending was so amazingly creepy. The chapter names being themed after organism decay hit especially hard in this branch.
I totally need more, I really want to know what happens next in the continuing branch and im eagerly looking forward to the full version!!
